Default Photo's after mindee's leave?

Hi,

I am about to lose 2 of my mindee's as they have started school and I was wondering, once they have left my care what should I do with all the photos I have of them stored on my computer? Should they all be deleted?

Hi, welcome to the site. Yes, once the photos have served the purpose that they were collected for it is appropriate to remove them. This ensures you comply with data handling & protection. Maybe ask your mindee's parents if they want to have a copy before you delete them? remember to empty the device's recycle bin & check to make sure they aren't stored anywhere else as backups, used & saved in different locations.

Memory sticks can be great for this as once a child moves on a flash drive with all an individual's photos, scans etc stored on it can go with them :) or, if parents don't want it, reformat so that all the data is completely erased before using the drive again. If your mindee's are friends of the family or if you're using images in promotional material check the permissions you have so that you can continue using or storing them.

Best wishes xx
