Help with the EYFS !!!!!!!

Hi everyone i need some advice , so here goes
I passed my level three in oct 2014 but the Nursery where i worked wasn't really supportive at all, so i struggled through this mainly alone. the only thing i am not confident about is the EYFS.
Although i had to do a few planning sheets and observations to pass this unit and a lot of theory based essay's, I dont feel this is enough to work as a qualified level three. I have not really had enough experience in my opinion, which makes me feel not confident enough to apply for jobs. Has anybody else found the that they have had no support whilst doing L3 i have ended up becoming a play worker, which i love:jump:and requires a little invovlment of the eyfs . so my question is what do i do about gaining more experience because employers are not interested unless you have it.
any advice pleaseWith love:

Hi, if I were in that position, I might try to volunteer for a fixed period in a nursery situation, where maybe you could ask for support in learning about/using the EYFS. Also, does your local authority run courses that cover the EYFS (Enfield council ran one recently for those new to the EYFS).

I found my level 3 did not adequately cover the EYFS, but my Level 2 (College based) did quite a lot of work on it, thus I felt more prepared.

Hope that helps, Sam

Hi sam,
Thank so much for your reply .
I will certainly start searching for courses.
I have read and read the book ha ha , so I know all the theory, its just putting in to practice. Which is so scary .
Thanks again , niklau x
