In my work place have clear policies and procedures about all aspects of health and safety. They are concerning regularly. All rooms and equipment used by children and young people should have regular checks to ensure that everything is working well and is safe and also we check the toys and equipment for activities are safe and clean. If there any equipment or buildings be at risk of damage we could remove them. Some of these checks are required by low. For example; Electrical equipment must be checked by a qualified electrician every year.
Polices and procedure have to be followed and studied as this encourage us to work safely.
Safety: both before and during the activities for example-Area as where children play, learn and develop must be in appropriate size that mean enough space and staff ration.

Some other risks and hazards are need to monitored and maintained. For example:
• Visitors book, register check daily
• Emergencies: fire. First aid, evacuation
• Security; Gates, doors and windows are lock and secure
• Furniture: fit for purpose, no slip, no sharp corners or edges especially on tables. And good condition
• Heating: comfortable temperature and well maintained by qualified technician
• Safe: children in and out, handling food, clean and hygienic.
• Cleaning materials in locked cupboard
• Outdoor areas: Cleared of rubbish, poisonous plants
• Food: storage, handling and cooking food with hygienic
