Default Any early years setting moved under school academy?

Hi I am looking for postive and negative experiences/views on moving a Preschool from privately run to under a school academy.

The preschool is privately run but on the school grounds in a building rented from the main school. The Preschool and is rated outstanding by Ofsted and has been for the the last three inspections.

The main school is about to become an academy and has approached Preschool about moving under the academy. I am part of preschool management and cant see the need to make this change as we are already successful at what we are doing.

Any Advice would be welcomed. Thank you.
