Hi all I’m look for some help on question 2.1 unit 27- describe the benefits of healthy eating for children and young people. If anyone could steer me in the right direction would really appreciate it
Keeping active: a healthy diet boosts energy levels, improves bodily functions, boosts the immune system to increase resistance to illness and infection, increases life expectancy.
Getting daily nutritional needs: a healthy diet reduces the risk of minor and more serious illnesses such as cancer and diabetes. Healthy teeth, hair, skin and bones
Enjoy learning and life: a healthy diet can make them feel more positive and learn more effectively and reduce stress levels.
Sleeping well: a healthy diet will enable them to sleep more easily and feel more rested
Losing weight without a diet: Healthy eating is more likely to promote a steady weight loss and be maintained.
Consequence of an unhealthy diet is obesity which causes
problems with joints
headaches
drowsiness
snoring
gall bladder disease
high blood pressure
high cholesterol
low self-esteem
risk of Type 2 Diabetes later in life, although children can contract this disease.
