1.1 Establish respectful, professional relationships with children and young people.
you need to show that you understand Different methods used when talking to and working with children a few pointers to help you....
listening skills, eye contact, facial expressions, showing an interest in their likes, dislikes and hobbies, boundaries, rules and routine.

1.2 Examples how to behave appropriatley for a child development.

give examples of methods whcih you use within in class/setting.
early years, visual aids, flash cards, worksheets, games. lots of encouragement and praise given to childre.
older children, working in smaller groups, praise, encouragement, help organising them. also being sensitive and sympathetic due to age.

1.3 How to deal with dsagreements with children:jump:
you need to explain how you would deal with disagreements, provide examples and the solutions which you provided. eg, playground arguments..mention the behaviour policy...senior management team(smt) and teaching children respect and valuing each other through lessons....

1.4 how own behaviour could promote effective interventions with children.:jump:
you need to explain the importance of being positive at all times, regardless of any issues at school or outside. examples, body language, hand gestures, open and honest. children need to feel secure and feel they can trust the adults.

how own behaviuor could impact negativley:jump:
you need to expalin the importance of valuing children and treating them the same. no discrimination, tone of voice and body language.:jump:

What does ‘positive behaviour management’ mean to you?

I am stuck on this I have put about 3 lines for this but my tutor says I need to add more can anyone help

Hi a very warm welcome to the site.

Page 142 of the STL level 2 handbook looks at positive behaviour and how settings manage it.

Would you consider managing children's behaviour means helping children to understand the rules of the school? communication/talking and showing them what the code of conduct is about, explaining how rewards are earnt and how sanctions happen if boundaries are overstepped.

Do you feel managing behaviour involves dealing with conflict and inappropriate behaviour in ways that the school's policy sets out? (what does your school's behaviour policy say?)
What do you feel about anti-bullying?
What do you think about attendance?
Understanding children's physical, social and emotional stages of development?
The needs of the pupil
