You should have a copy of the EYFS Handbook in your setting or if possible your own personal copy. When planning activities you could then make sure you are covering the Development Matters individually. Also has some suggestions on good practice of how to provide opportunities for covering these areas. Of course most activities will cover many of the Areas of Learning...... the treasure hunt actitvity for example also covered PSED and CLL (working together as a group, taking turns, follow simple instructions etc)

hi i dont have a handbook yet ,my assessor is useless and shes coming out to observe me monday doing some of these activities.can you let me know if this activity is suitable for 2-4 yrs
cut out pictures of tall and short building such as tower blocks,bungalows,2 hoops and labels tall and short
lay the pictures outfaceup let the children look at them,talk about them,ask one child to pick his favourite picture and put it into the correct hoop.then choose another child etc..
im stuck now on the next steps for this or do you think i should make it simplier.
