LOL she is exempt .. I'm a rules stickler .. no entries by association !!!!

seriously though .. So far the entrants for the competitions on Silkysteps have come in from the UK, Ireland, Finland, Australia, USA, Poland, Spain & New Zealand !

So that squid could be 'tentacling himself off to any part of the globe
lol .. was only a suggestion though  don't want those needles to feel under any pressure !!

Dont worry i will enjoy the challenge.Whay colour or colours?Maybe do a rainbow one, then keep everyone happy.Open to suggestions.
I have made one before but just using a medium plastic ball.wrapping wool round. Then you make long strands of wool, cover over as if making a wig but cover all ball.Tie up so it looks as if in middle of ball. You then use the long strands to make eight plaits.Check sufficient strands to balance out.Tie with coloured baby ribbon.Sew on felt eyes and mouth.
you can also make small ones.Or make assorted spiders for halloweenusing the same method. Happy plaiting.lol

A travelling squid is a cool idea Patsy How about you knit a squid for Silkysteps, then if it wasn't too hard and/or you enjoyed knitting it (and had time of course) maybe knit another one for your moderator!! Remember "NO!" is an option, I would just cry over spilt ink!!*groan*
