Hi All
I understand that many play specialists are now being employed in situations other than NHS hospitals and community services.
Play specialists have been employed in family centres and children's centres to work as part of the multi professional team with children who have special needs, victim of abuse and domestic violence, mental health problems, vittim of bullying etc
Also play specialists are employed in respite care units for children with special needs and in children's hospices.
Does any one know or has come across play specialists who work in these environments?
Do you think play specialists are useful in these environments ?
I'd love to hear your views
