Crossfingers level 5 book help

i have just started on the level 5 i havent done the level 4 at uni but at college it is totally different so far i am wondering if someone could suggest some good books to start me off at the minute its very overwhelming as it takes me an hour to get there i just cant access the books wen i need them so wanted to buy some which will cover a few modules if possible x

your lecturer will give you a book list with dozens on and wil highlight the main readings for each unit, i really wouldnt buy anything you arent instructed to at 20 quid a book BUT i would spend time reading the study skills handbook by sheila cottrell and anything on conducting research in early years. each uni has very diff book lists

i have got my reading list its getting to the library im finding difficult with working full time i just thought there might be a couple of books i could buy to get me started
