Default Level 3 Distance Learning/Online

Hi all this is my first post on here!

I'm looking to start my Level 3 after Easter via funding from Surrey County Council through my work in a Preschool.

I'd like to do a Distance Learning course that I can do online/in my own time - this will fit in best with my home life.

From what I've read already on here, it would appear that a lot of colleges/agencies deliver their courses very differently and it's the luck of the draw as to how difficult the course will be??!! That really doesn't seem fair at all but at the same time, before I choose my provider I'm obviously very keen to find out from others who may be studying this way and if you can recommend them?

Thanks for your help in advance and no doubt I'll be on this forum a lot more down the line :) !!

H x

Hi
Im currently studying a level 3 TA diploma through Cambridge open college. The course is relatively easy....common sense & reading through the coursework lit they send. Having some experience working within a school also helps. I would recommend them.
You complete the assignment (12 in total) and then either send through the post, which you receive a pass or fail within a week or you can email them your assignments (im not sure how long they take to mark it this way). There is also no time limit on you completing the course, they just say that if you plan on taking 6 months or more off studying, let them know & then you can carry on afterwards.

Hope that helps =)
