Biggrin Greeny snack time!

Celebrate Saint Patrick's day by having a green food day !

Use your snack time to serve up some ...green apples, grapes, pears.
Maybe serve a tossed salad of Lettuce strips & cucumber chunks & (pre-cooked) Spinach pasta shapes.

Depending how adventurous you are or how far the purse strings can stretch... a few other greens could include

Olives
Mange tout
Green beans
Cress
Celery
Kiwi fruit
Pea pods
Parsley? (:crazy: )
Sliced green peppers
Gooseberries

Finish off with Green lime jelly & Peppermint icecream

Serious official head on now!

How about some green drinks to go with the green food?

:clover: Limeade or green lemonade (use food colouring - don't buy out of date stuff just for the colour!!!!:crazy:);

:clover: Green vanilla Milkshake - more food colouring;

:clover: Mint and white chocolate milkshake - green again!

For snacks we are planning on Leprechaun Dust (pistachio pudding), Lucky Clovers (cucumbers with green cream cheese) and Shamrock Shakes (lime sherbet, bananas & milk). Throughout the day we will also have Magically Delicious Drink (green tinted milk)
