Help SOS Looking for some advice and reassurance!!

Hi so I currently work in a 2-3 room but after Christmas due to staff changes I am moving to a pre school room for ages 3-4! I am excited for the new challenge but also can’t help but feel sad as I was comfortable in my room and had amazing bonds with my key children, I know when the children move to the next room in September I will be there so that’s nice but still just worrying over small things like will the bonds still be there 9 months later? And am I going to struggle with these new observations and trying to think of activities for this age range!! Any advice would be appreciated as I am really trying to see this as a positive!

Hi,

Just be yourself, I know you are nice to be a companion and I'm sure these kids will love you. You just need to make sure you have lonnnnngg patience for kids can be very energetic so you need to be level headed with them. Merry Christmas!

I feel you there OP, if you have time in your schedule, you can visit them in their room sometimes. Though I'm sure they won't forget you anyway since as you said, you have formed a bond already with your previous class. Kids got sharp memories you know.
