Help SOS Stls 2.2 recognising and responding to concerns about children's and young person's development

Hi
I am really struggling with this section. Can anyone think of any other examples please? I am hitting a brick wall/ having a blank.

Describe with examples the importance of recognising and responding to concerns about children's and young person's development,

So far I have only written about delayed speech.... Help!

Thanks

Hi, use examples from your working practice eg. if there's been a time you noticed a child struggling with their learning, was unable to see what was being written on the classroom whiteboard, struggled to hear what was being said, disliked/avoided particular areas of a room or sensory activities.

Personal, social emotional behavioural
Communication and language
Physical development
Learning

Understanding the importance of early recognition and intervention makes sure the child receives the help they need and so has the greatest opportunity to succeed.

Hi Steph

I've noticed a few of your posts, what course were you doing?
I'm currently in the middle of my CACHE diploma in children's care, learning and development and stuck on 2 units.

SHC 23 and MU 2.10
Have you done them? I ask because the question you asked about is a question I had to answer in TDA 2.1

Still don't know if i've got it signed off yet either :/

Hope you can help

Jodie

Hi there is a cross over of criteria, or the knowledge needed for STL (supporting teaching & learning) and the children's workforce / Wales's CCLD.

The SCH 2.3 unit is in the handbook you have access to - page 31+

and you can put together the information you need for MU 2.10 from the handbook's index eg. read all the pages relating to 'play'

Hi Steph

Sorry I've only just managed to see this message.
I'm doing the CACHE Diploma Level 2.

I've got to answer 'Describe what is meant by uncacceptable risk and challenge in children and young peoples play and learning'
