Biggrin Pictures in the clouds

I was just thinking today....

I remember when i was small, lying on a blanket in the garden staring at the sky and watching the clouds float by... we used to look at the clouds and describe what we could see in them, and have cloud races, each choosing a cloud and seeing who would win 'the race'

I just think that sometimes...its nice to do those simple things even if they dont really relate to the curriculum - but time to stop, be still and relax - thats important for the children as well as us isnt it?

I might try it - it would be interesting to see what the children say!!

I know what the staff would say......Anj has lost the plot again! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love clouds. I find it so relaxing and I can just drift away with them. My hubby thinks I mental 'cos I can always find something or someone in their shapes. :raspberry In actual fact I have a photograph of a cloud that looks like a cartoon duck's head that I spotted when I was in Orlando last year!!! Honest.

I also like to look at the stars, but that's a story for when the restraining orders have been lifted!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Very often the topic of conversation as we trek to the top of the road each morning for school revolves around what my 5yr old can see in the clouds ! and as its his choice to talk about it I think they must of done it at school!

Veeery nice activity for a summers day
