Default Story Sack help needed.

We have all been asked to create a story sack at work. A bag with a story in, and props for the children to hold or be a part of the story.

Someone is doing The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Hungry Caterpillar, and some others.

Anyone have any good ideas for stories that I can get good props for?

It's for pre school children 2.6 months to nearly five!

Thanks for any help.

You could try
Harry and the bucket of dinosaurs - bucket with different dinosaurs, some artificial leaves etc.
Handas surprise - different fruits made from felt to resemble the fruit in the story
pants - different pairs of pants - add some really big ones and fancy ones, get the children to think about who they could belong to?
Itchy Bear - apples and different animals in the story
The Smartest Giant in town different items of clothing and the animals from the story- add a really long scarf
Classics such as 3 little pigs, 3 Billy Goats Gruff, Rapunzel is popular at the moment

Hi, I've been asked to do the same. Some of my ideas are:

TVHC
The Gruffalo (which my setting already have)
Dear Zoo (I'm defo doing this, a favourite story of my daughters)
Rumble in the Jungle/Farmyard Hullaballoo/Commotion in the Ocean
Old Mc Donald had a Farm
Nursery Rhymes

For older children 3-5:
Classic fairytales-
Billy goats gruff
Jack & the Beanstalk
Little red riding hood
The Enormous Turnip etc

These are good for using 'Talk to Write' and sequencing (xxxxxxxxxxx have the downloadable resources).

I would also look on Pinterest. They have brilliant ideas for almost every topic or theme!

Hope that helps.
