Default Newbee that needs help!!!

Hi,

I am trying to answer EYMP 5, 2.1 but struggling with how to start. If anybody has some suggestions I would really apprecaite it.

The question is Explain the ways in which adults can effectively support and extend the speech, language and communication development of children during the early years.

Thanks

Hi Sage - think about what you do every day - you talk to children modelling the language for them. you actively listen - demonstrating to them how we effectively communicate. if they say something incorrectly you model it. you demonstrate writing to them through your work. you develop language through story reading. if you notice concerns you refer them.

hope this helps

Mrs Noah
