Default Pay scales for 2013

I am a manager of a ex charity run Preschool and looking at reviewing staff wages in time for the next appraisal. the preschool is no longer a charity and is now a community interest company.

The current rates are not consistent as we have level threes paid at different rates regardless of time in the job, extra duties etc as different committees have had different ideas, and those with longer service have been been managed by several different committees who have set or changed pay rates.

One level three is paid much more than the others even though she has less service and takes on fewer duties, as she managed to negotiate a higher wage rate at the time of her employment with the then committee!!!

The Leader is not paid much more than the deputy, she wasnt given the same rate when the other leader left, but spends many hours planning running a fantastic setting and leading the other staff.

No one moans about how much they are paid, its a close working team, but I feel it needs to be more justifiable and there is money in the kitty for a bit of an increase.

any help with what your Leader, Deputy, Level 3 are paid please????

cant give you numbers but they should have a clause in their contract that their pay and conditions are confidential which stops them discussing them!
