Diploma or NVQ level 3 ?

Could anybody tell me is a diploma in ccld level 3 a higher qualification than an nvq level 3 ccld ?
Would be very interested to find out!

Ill ask at college, they might know!! Anybody else out there know??

Both are level three - so both equal.
The Diploma is more 'academic' with assignments on due dates etc.
whislt the NVQ is work based with more observations on your working practice.
