Hi...

Having the accurate documentation regarding the development of children and young people means that they can receive the correct help they need...highlights any problems/illnesses etc before they get too serious...highlights if they are on target with their peers/correct age group...helps you plan the correct activities etc

Hope this helps!

Thank you

Did you include anything on registration and inspection framework / legal requirements and policy and procedures in a seting, if so how did you bring it in?

Thanks

I linked it into question 5.3 previous to it...yes I also included policies & procedures from the setting which are implemented to support accurate documentation on children and young people's development; it all kind of linked and flowed together once you begin writing.

Im sorry if this is not much help.

littlemiss is right BUT describing the need is not evaluating. you need to get to grips with this not just listing and describing. You need to ensure you understand evaluate i spend my time retiring scripts that are not doing this
evaluate is to look at the pros and cons comparing them and looking for better or more useful ways, being critical in a positive way and measuring them against the need outcome

Thank you tutu. I know how to evaluate, was just purely giving rough examples to help mandojane get started :)
