Default Rumble In The Jungle

Hi there, this is my first post and as we are currently exploring the theme of animals I thought I would reccomend a wonderful book:

Rumble in the Jungle by Giles Andrae.

This is an excellent book which really captured the children's imagination, it sparked a great deal of discussion and the artwork the children produced afterwards was excellent.

Hi

Hi Clare,
Welcome. Just had a look at Rumble In The Jungle, it's lovely. I'm thinking of getting it for my youngest (she's 17months) as she loves to look at animal pictures and I think this would really appeal to her.

Many thanks
Tracey

Another great animal book is Snake Supper by Alan Durant and Ant Parker .A slithery snake slips through the forest.See what he eats fir his supper. Made a story sack ,snake bought in Ikea(cut his mouth wider!) Children love this story as in the end all the animals are saved!
