Alert DEFRA: Duty To Care law

New Duty to care law was introduced in April 2007 and is a great for initiating ways to help everyone involved in animal care understand their particular pet needs.

DEFRA: duty to care information

Record your awareness of this law by including the Defra PDF and any other fact sheet information on your pets in an Operation plan, curriculum planning and/or risk assesment folders!

What sort of evidence do you have in place for caring for your pets ?
Holiday rota & contact details ~ feeding schedule, recommended foods, local Vet contact details or innoculation/medication information..
