Default Help with Theoretical Perspectives please

Hi

I need to write an essay on certain theoretical perspectives, I need to include an explanation of the theory/perspective. Which area of development they are associated with and how the theories/perspectives link to the framework our setting works with and to my practice.

I don't know where to start - would really appreciate a few hints please as I am just sat looking at my laptop and nothing is happening!

Thanks so much.
