Hi
Question 1- how effective do you feel your own contribution is to the assessment of the development needs of the children in your care?
In what ways do you put forward information about children's development needs?
Do you make observations on children's development, talk to colleagues, attend staff meetings, share information with parents, listen to parents, know children's individual interests?
Page of this level 2 handbook (search inside for 'assessment needs and click to page 94 and page 246)
Your job description will also help to explain this.
Question 2- how effective is your role in supporting the children’s development?
If you're able to use your job description to show what your role is in the setting, consider how well you feel you're able to support the children.
Are you expected to help with routines - welcoming children in, settling into play, mealtimes, toilet times, getting ready to go out or home.
Hope this helps a little xx
