Default Terry towelling nappy companies

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know any companies any where in the UK, that provide a service where you can buy their terry towlling nappies and then they provide a service where they collect the dirty ones wash them and return clean ones??

I have been told by lots of different people that there are companies that provide these services but can't find any in my area, Sussex, or for any other part of the country.

I just feel with terry towelling nappies available in more easy to use shapes, with velcro fasteners or poppers, I would like to encourage people I know to try these, but can't find any details.

Information about services anywhere in the country would be great, as I know people from all over the place.

Thanks

Harriet

Help SOS

Thanks Donna

Thats a great website to know about. I will refer lots of people I know to this site, hopefully I will be able to convert them to this, better for the environment, nappy services.

Unfortunately there are not any services listed on this site that cover any of the Sussex area.

If anyone else knows of any terry nappy services in the Sussex area, please do let me know. Then I can also let the Change a Nappy website know as well and more people know.:crossfing

Thanks again

Harriet

Most LA's operate a 'real nappy initiative. Directing each person to their own www.YOURCOUNTY.gov.uk & searching with the keywords 'real, nappy or initiative' should bring up a contact result for them, they may also have details of local laundering services.

Good website links have already been given Real nappy week campaign is another & is being held during 21st - 27th April 08 if that helps inform anything you hope to pass on

Thanks so much for all the info so far, it has been really helpful.

Has anyone got personal experience of using these nappies, did you find them easy to use?

Also compared to disposable nappies how does the cost compare?

Personally I think that fact that the inpact on the environement, of disposable nappies should make more people think of using terry nappies, but if they are far more expensive it will be difficult to convince people.:soapbox:

Thanks again for all your replies
