Lightbulb Milk bottle Igloo

This amazed me when I saw it .... so much so, that I've started collecting 4 pint milk bottles for myself! (smaller than the USA versions but the end result will be as good!)

Milk Bottle Igloo

A couple of pointers...

Ensure the bottles are sterilised so that bacterial growth is avoided one the lids are in place

The jumbo sized storage bags are useful for keeping things tidy until enough bottles have been collected.

This idea could be applied to lots of 'house' shapes and is light enough to be taken outside for play!

If you have any novel ideas on how they could be used... post away!

What a brilliant idea! I am going to start collecting these milk jugs as well now - I just love the idea! We did make an igloo last year but used chicken wire and paper mache - it took all term to make and was not easily transported, but the children did enjoy using it (even if they got a little bored with making it it took soooo long.)
