Hi everyone I need a bit of advice. I intend to build a play area and I have been offered some old car tyres. I am not sure if there are any special measures I should take with them other than a good wash and clean, something at the back of my mind tells me I was told of certain things that I need to do or check but I cannot recall where to access the info. Does anyone else out there use old tyres and if so any help will be most welcome.
i have 2 nurseries who used them and they just washed them down with a really good de greaser then lots of rinsing they were great fun, the children used to paint them all the time and they also used some as planters
I have them in my garden as planters and they are great. I just gave them a good scrub - well the children did and they enjoyed it so much they went on the clean the buggies, ride on cars... it was a very wet day!! :jump:
we've got them in our outdoor area at nursery and the eyfs advisor who comes out loved them, the kids love them too, they are used as spaceships, cars, falling down the plughole game, allsorts
