Reduction in statutory grants have meant loss of staff hours which in turn will impact on the number of families we are able to support and also the number of volunteers we are able to use. Although we appreciate that the cuts are not representative of the value that the council places on our services, it is extremely difficult to maintain the service we provide on far fewer hours.
