Default Unit 307: Planning a healthy eating activity

Hi I need your help!

Because I'm only in my school on a voluntry basis, I've never had to plan an activity, so I'm a little lost now I'm expected to do this. I know exactly what I want to do and I'm confident with the practical side of things but I've no idea how I'm surposed to plan it on paper. Do I simply list what I'm going to do? Do I need to carry out a risk assesment ect?
I've read through the unit but still not sure where to start. I could just do with someone to point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

You could find out how your setting usually plan an activity and use their sheets. Or list each pc down and next to each say what you are going to do, to offer the children healthy choices. Your assessor will be looking at what you plan to do ... do make sure as you plan to write I will/I shall. I don't usually expect candidates to risk assess this element but I would expect to see on the day the menu if planned for the candidate knows which children have allergies etc.

Hope this helps

Thats a great help. I'd not thought of asking the school for their planning sheets. Thanks. :)

To be honest I often feel like a bit of a pest asking for stuff, everyone in school is always so busy and stressed. :sorry:
