Book Review Betty and the Yeti - book review

Betty and the yeti by Ella Burfoot

amazon affiliated link

An excellent book with rhyming text that tracks the adventure of Betty on a walk through the snow with her little red sled.

It's a book that explores what's needed to stay warm in the cold, in the story she finds a jingly jangly hat, gloves, a woolly scarf, a coat that comes down to her knees and some snow boots. They don't belong to the polar bears, arctic hare or whale who in turn exlains that he doesn't need clothes as blubber keeps him warm.

She happens on a rock, and finds hiding behind it a small shy Yeti who took off his clothes to see if that would stop everyone feeling scared of him. With clothes back on, he and betty head off to show their friends that he is indeed very nice to know
