Default New here MU5.2 Child Development

Hello everyone
I've just started my Diploma with the Child Development module and I'm imagining at this level that in response to "explain the sequence and rate of...." I would be expected to do more than just "reel off the usual developmental stages from birth 0-19" or am I "over analysing" whats required? Obviously later questions allow more opportunity for explanation and discussion, but because this feels so much like I'm just quoting ages and stages, I'm wondering if I'm doing it right?

Thanks
Pamela

EXPLAIN does not mean reel off. it means give real life examples to underpin your assertions.

Hi
I`ve just done this and I did just reel off lists for each age group. I broke them down to At birth, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months 1-2 years, 2-3 years., 3-4 years, 4-5 years, 5-6 years, 6-9 years, 10-13 years, 14-16 years and 16-19 years. I did lists for physical development. social, emotional and behaviour development, and Intellectual/cognitive and communication development, and Moral Development.
Hope this helps
