3.1 How your role fits within the delivery of the service provided
The service provided is childcare. This can be government run or privately run. The nursery should be striving to achieve:

Good childhood experiences
Plan for children’s individual needs
Support learning and development of children by working with families.

Your role fits within the delivery of the service you provide by:

You creating a positive environment
You providing appropriate activities for children
You working in partnerships with colleagues and parents
You accessing appropriate training courses
You being qualified or working towards further qualification.

Explain how your role as a childcare practitioner fits within your childcare setting.
