Default UK Policy/Initiative

Can anyone help, I have to identify a UK Policy or Initiative within the early years relating to Inequalit and inclusion and am stuggling to find one. I know the EYFS is a policy, but not sure of another one. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks

the eyfs isnt a policy it is legislation based on a policy which is every child matters. That is where you want to be focussing your research

thanks for that, i am thinking of doing the difference between boys and girls in their literacy, I know there is a national Strategy on confident, capable nd creative: suppoting boys achievent from the DFES, but if you have anything else that could help would be great.
