General question Life after level 3

Hi ive just finished level 3 and dont quite no what to do next or if i can handle another course lol...This may sound daft but is level 4 the natural progression or are there any other courses in childcare to progress on to? Is level 4 more time consuming than level 3,or the same format etc...Im in a playgroup working at present but would like to get into family support work in the future.....Any advice please would be grateful.....Thankyou

Hiya I think there are quite a few options open tbh.

Level 4 seems to be a more indepth broader version of L3 .. the foundation degree is also a possibility along with the OU !

For family & social care / work Socialworkercareers.co.uk has some great information as does the Career options page from the Open University

You have to actually enter the DoH Social website before being able to verify who manages and regulates the content.

Have you thought about an interview with the Job centre's careers advisor & contacting EYs dept to see what funding is available ?

Let us know what you come across

xx
