This is probably a daft question, but do you need to ask for parents permission to use a paddling pool with the children ?

dont know

maybe just a "we are getting the padlding poool out today notice might do?? or a if its hot we might.........

ours get soaked with the trough so would be much different

Yes you do! on the 'children can drown in 2 inches of water' principal.....there's one here.....
