Help SOS Getting first key child meeting parents wednesday advice needed"

Hi All

So in a nutshell, I am currently working in a baby room (a complete change to my usual older children in previous settings). I am however getting my second key child!. I am supposed to settle this little chap in on wednesday and thursday but am really nervous to meet his parents! 0_0.

I have been there when other kids have settled in but my attention has always been on the other children when this is going on so don't get to here what is being said, and due to my anxiety, asperger's syndrome and dyspraxia I struggle with new social situations.

Can anyone please give me some advice on what questions to ask (without seeming like I am interrogating them!) My colleagues aren't the most helpful either, as last time they kind of dropped me in it the first time I had a key child of this age group at the setting before christmas (who had just turned one) they only told me I was getting him as a key child the day the family were due to arrive. The parents were understandably not reassured by anxious, nervous manner.... -_- So as you can imagine I want this settling in to go a lot better haha! any help would be most appreciated.
