Toys from home for group/class display.
Sort selection of toys into sets: road/air/water/how they work - battery, no battery.
Make patterns in paint/sand/dough with wheeled toys.
Make group collage using pictures of toys.
Set up a toy shop in role play area.
Make paper planes/kites.
Parachute play.
What toys did the children play with as babies?
Use construction resources to make wheeled toys.
Puppet play/make simple finger puppets.

Read 'Old Bear' and have an old bear you had as a child and talk about old and new Can you get any grandparents in to talk about what they used to play with?
Make peg dolls and card bears (with paper fasteners for the joints)
