which level 4 units work towards the foundation degree - Silkysteps early years forum

Would like my nvq level 4 to work towards the foundation degree has anyone else plans to do this.

Is there any particular reason you cannot do the degree ? May be easier than trying to equate the two.. also know depends on university if they accept NVQ4 as equating.. some don't, its not universal but up to the provider...

Foundatiion degree is a three year course which requires a monday eveining 4 - 10pm. I have a disabled child, husband is at work until 6.oopm unable to find child care. Open university are not funded. So need to find something that fits familys needs

It is the flexibility of NVQ that is very appealing and seems to have the least barriers to access - other than entry funding & resource cost, hard work but worthwhile as you've possibly read from members here... support should be readily available. Let us know what else you find out about the L4 feeding into the FD
