well, a few years ago our helth visitor used to pop in quite regurlarly. but that all changed when we got a new one and now have never seen her!
general feeling amongst the paretns is she is ok, but always seems to say we will see in a few months for any problems!! ears, speech, etc etc
we end up referring or finding out info for the paretns instead

so not too good really, although we have not tried to hard either. i think they are really overworked
