General question K3D210: Explain how current theories of play can inform practice?

I need advice that i am on the right path before rambling on more in my anwser lol, I am writing a bit about each of these theorists McMillan, Steiner, Isaacs, Froebel and Montessori and what their ideas are and how we still use them today, Is this right? any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, write something of the theorists you choose to focus on and then link it to how it informs/shapes the early years practice i.e.
McMillan - she advocated the importance of the 'outdoor classroom' - and this can be seen running through the eyfs curriculum and current practice - lots of outdoor playing and learning and forest schools etc.

I'd probably write 1/3 theorists/theories, 2/3 current practice, otherwise you might get stuck in the theorists and their work and have to 'squash' in your current practice bit.
