identify current policies, framework and influences on the early years. ive wrote about the eyfs and every child matters. my assessor has told me this is fine for the framework bit but i need to say something about other influences and im reading lots of different things on here some are talking about theorists and others about the changes in recent society please please help

Have you linked in the Children Act 2004, which was a consequence of the inquiry for Victoria Climbie this ties into the Every Child Matters agenda and also the way your policies for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people are built up.
Also as well as EYFS and ECM you could mention the common assessment framework (CAF)?
The Equality Act which protects all characteristics such as gender, disability, race etc from discrimination and to be given equal opportunities.
You also have things such as The UN Convention on The Rights Of The Child 1989 and The Data protection Act 1998. All this influence the way you carry out your role and create policies and procedures to abide by.
