Sooooooo simple but I just don't get it :(
Explain how babies express their emotions, preferences and needs and describe how you demonstrate responsive care in your own practice.
This question sounds SO easy, but I just don't get it :( Its really not going in at all and I need to hand it in by tomorrow :( Any help would be gratefully appreciated!! I am literally tearing my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead: |
babies can't talk so they express their emotions and needs through facial expressions smiling when they are happy frowning when they are not sure about something if they are scared they may cry. They also use crying to tell you if they are not happy ,hungry or in pain They also use their bodies by clinging to you if they are scared or reaching out to you if they want you to pick them up. By being aware of their needs and knowing what cry could mean what you are demonstrating responsive care by checking that their nappy is clean, they have been fed are not thirsty or just giving them a cuddle if they seem upset you are demonstrating that you can care for them. Also by following your settings policies and procedures in place for caring and providing for the babies you are showing you can care for them responsively. Hope this helps
