Mixed aged Ratios and staff levels
 

Hi,

I feel like my head is going to explode I am trying to work out ratios for my setting. We have a mixed aged 2-5 year old class. Some days we can have say 20 children perhaps 9 2 year olds and the rest 3 and over.
So by my calculations and looking at the guidance I would need

3 staff for the 2 year olds and 2 for the over 3s

And within that one must be level 3 and 2 must have a level 2 or above.

I'm so confused please help!
