Unit 305- Working in partnership with colleagues and other professionals in early years settings

2.2 explain the dilemmas a practitioner may face when idenitifying a potential support need which would require partnership working.

Can anyone help please?

Hi, these are some of the professionals you may work in partnership with so a setting can meet individual child's support needs
  • Colleagues
  • Practitioners
  • Key worker/person
  • Speech and language therapists
  • Family support
  • Sports coach
  • Music therapist
Source City & Guilds handbook
  • SALT
  • SENCO
  • midwife
  • health visitor
  • key worker/person

Page 151+ of this level 3 handbook is good reading. Use the look inside feature and search for 'barriers to partnership'

Dilemmas result when we're unsure, if a need requires intervention, if our concerns will be taken seriously, if there is a positive enough relationship with a child's parents, how effective communication is, if a setting knows how to source advice and services from others.

Hope this helps a little xx
