Just be honest - why do you want the job? You've applied, so you must think that you are able to fulfil the position?
How can you sell yourself? What skills do you have? and that doesn't just mean with children. Are you good at organising? Or do you feel more comfortable being directed? Do you work well in a team? etc You have a current qualification and therefore are able to know and demonstrate current legislation for the sector.
What are they looking for in the future? Are you willing to comtinue to learn and improve by refreshing and/or further studying? Are you hoping to work up to a room manager or take on a Senco position. Or are you just happy to work with children in the early years sector and willing to work under the supervision of others?
I hope this helps you to think of your reasons for applying and remember the confidence you should now feel having gained the necessary qualification.
