mobile phone text language, typing or talking you may find you receive comments along the way if you use it alot in your work.

avoiding abbreviation & all capitals could be added to coursework that asks how you use appropriate language - spoken and written when working with children, colleagues and professionals. sorry, my daughter found it odd when I mentioned it to her and was surprised but it's not personal more what others could expect when talking to you. Common chat acronyms on the forum are good & encouraged but it's also about asking questions in a way that respects the use of english and uses it so that everyone benefits quickly - medically, professionally and indeed as you are in your role at work, as a role model/taking the lead with something you have more knowledge about than the children may currently have xx

If you still need some these are a few other ideas for footie crafts:

Salt dough footballs - can cover sport, health, circles, number, colour and country names.
Different sporting balls: have a selection of real balls for outlining & cutting from paper. If this is prooves too adult directed take photos of them and display/cutout.
You could ask .. 'Who'd play football with a ping pong ball ..
Also demonstrates the diversity and cultural backgrounds of balls.
Football pitch & collage players: cut cereal boxes so that paint can be applied to the inside turning it into a stadium or field.
Add scrunched up balls to bounce around & have sheets of football players to cut and glue if wished.
Real football players: great for younger ones, turn everyone into a player with an England baseball cap and kick around white & red fom balls - goal areas optional, england flags to mark the goal areas would be innovative or creative.
Grass cutting good sensory activity & a crucial part of pitch maintenance. Tray of grass and scissors, glue & paper if wanted could cover mathmatical & positional language/concepts such as long & short, growth and cut, higher, lower, goats, sheep and mowing machines
Finger painting: mark out a football pitch with white paint on green paper/table top. What are the areas needed/called - professionally marked diagram football pitch from learning-through-football.co.uk or for ease & accessibility halve a rectangle giving one side to each team - coloured/numbered or named and make two goal areas for shooting.

vuvuzela for noise making & music and football clackers

You could also look into footballer nutrition and serving international foods.

Hth xx
