Hi, in all these situations a practitioner would be alert to the emotions and behaviours of a child and know how to report any concern using the setting's policies and procedures as guidance. They'd work in close partnership with the child's parent/s, family and carers and almost certainly be the child's named key person (if working in england with the EYFS) or know how to pass on observations about the child and to whom.

What have you learnt by reading Mary Ainsworth, Mary Main & Judith Solomon's work? eg. the patterns of attachment, secure attachments, positive relationships and how as a professional practitioner you 're able to support children through these challenging times.

Best wishes
