Hi welcome to the site. Do you have copies of your setting's policies and procedures and your job contract or a staff handbook that explains your role and responsibilities as a professional practitioner?

You can research child development in your course textbook or this child development book on amazon and learn about positive relationships and parent partnerships also in your textbook.

Hope this helps a little

Best wishes
