This question doesn't really have a lot of evidence you can research in my opinion.
Use examples from the settings you work in - e.g. i have a little boy who dislikes painting but loves playing with dinosaurs, therefore i could adapt a painting session into a session using plastic dinosaurs as the painting tool as it may interest the child to join in more.

Also think about children with SEN, disability, additional needs etc.

What i have found easiest with these two questions was to answer them as one (check with your tutor if this is allowed?) this is because they are more or less the same question and the answer can be strayed between both question.

Hope this helps. I have not long finished this unit myself (still got a few of the questions to complete fully) so i can only help so much

:)
