Evaluate partnership working in relation to:*
• meeting children’s additional needs

Working in partnership will support children's additional needs.
Children maybe being seen by a specialist such as a speech and language therapist and they can share advice and support so that everyone in the team can get involved to support the child.
They may suggest exercises and activities to help develop the child's speech.
If this did not happen then there would be no continuity of care and the chikd may become confused.

safeguarding children
Working in partnership is important in safeguarding children.
There has been cases in the past where a child has been harmed or suffered abuse and it has not been picked up on because the teams working together have not shared information or communicated.
The sharing of information is an essential elememt of working in partnership and this will ensure any concerns are followed up quickly and effectively and this will in turn keep the child safe.

children’s transitions.
When a child first starts at a setting it is essential that practitioners work in oartnershio with parents/carers.
This will enable them to gather all essential information to provide a smooth transition into the setting.
Practitioners need to work in partnership with schools, when a child is starting school it is important that they get the best start and practitioners can help by providing essential information as how the child is developing.

I put this and it was passed.
